Our vision is to create the opportunity for men, women and children from the Bireh in Calgary to unite and create sustainable change back home.
Together, we will enable every child in the Bireh to receive a quality education, help families and the elderly in need, and build a Community Centre and Mosque in the Bireh where people can come together and support one another.
It Takes a Village, all of us working together, to make this vision a reality.
Goals
To raise $100,000 annually to support the following priorities:
Education Fund – enabling every child to receive a quality K-12 education and establishing two University Scholarships valued at $1,000 each annually.
Help the Needy Fund – enabling approximately 30 families, identified as being in need, to receive ongoing donations to assist with their basic needs.
Infrastructure & Beautification Fund – enabling the building of a new Community Centre and Mosque along with other priority infrastructure/beautification needs.
